Sylvia was born and bred in East Anglia and studied art at Colchester School of Art and Hockerill College. Her work includes a range of subjects, from vibrant still life and flower paintings, to landscape and marine subjects. Her mixed medial collages are worked on MDF using acrylics, paper and gouache, while her vibrant oils paintings are worked with a palette knife over acrylic under-painting. Sylvia has had successful solo exhibitions throughout the region as well as in London and the USA. She is also a member of the Bridgeman Art Library. |
